ok so heres the story. ive got about 18k to spend on a car and i dont think i can afford a penny more. ill be buying this car in about a month as i need it to get to and from school/work. i was pretty set on an acura rsx, used 2005. its got a pretty big hatch and trunk area, good gas mileage, and its quick enough for me. but latly ive been noticing another car, the new eclipses. so heres my question; if you could get either car for the same price which would you go with and why?

id go with the RSX. VERY reliable car..everyone knows that. Easy to mod. lots of mod options.

Besides that. It is a GREAT car for car audio. The hatch is huuuge. The best car I ever heard was an RSX. Kid had 4 10" HE2's. sounded absolutely incredible. Has good rear speaker placement in stock location. And its just a sharp lookin car... what color are you thinking?

my cousin has an rsx and any subs you throw in the back seem to get at least somewhat loud

if it were me id get a used mkIII or IV vdub and use the extra money to make it sexy and more powerful.

then again I have an unhealthy love for the vdubs.

i also like the rsx because im not looking to do many exterior mods (ricer FTL). the headlights already black housing, its low enough, comes with a lip kit and skirts. i would just tint the OEM tail lights and MAYBE rims but thats about it.
