yea i think my dad is mentally insane

i will give you a little backround info on me, im 17, and live in pa. i get good grades and have a decent amount of friends. im averaging a 3.6 gpa and going to be going to college to be a lawyer or mechanical engineer. most of my teachers pull me asside and tell me im the brightest kid that they have taught in a long time but i should try more, i just do minimal work i can for an a or so ha.

but i got itno trouble a couple months back, alcohole, drugs, that kinda shizz. my parents been on my *** ever sinc ei can remember but lately its been bad. my mom, i love her to death, is a very open and caring person, and doesnt try to make me do things her way, but will talk to me about stuff to get me in the right track. like she used ot smoke cigs, i do, she tells me she knwos and that i shoudl quit but she cant stop me. now my dad on the other hand really freaks out hes a super anal person. that si bassically what started everything as of late.

this morning i grabed a pack outa my car before i sent it out to inspection. well he thought that was shady so he searched my car. he found some visine that i didnt even knwow as there (had the car for 2 ****ing days). its the brand my friend always buys, now theyd ont beleive me its not mine and i have never even used the shit. god ****it i didnt even know it was there for crist sakes. but yea so he freaks out and later today i asked if i could go out. he gives me some bs about i only need him when i need something. i sorta just ignored that comment since he gves it all the time.

this is where i think he has a mental problem. he fabricates intracit stories in his mind to try to get me to stumble and ,ess up a story or something to see if im lying. he just wont beleive im not and im actually doing what i say and going where i say. so he says to me, why did u hesistate to tell me the ash in ur car was urs. i said dad this is why i tell u im going to carry a tape recorder on me, i didnt desistate, you said whats that, and i said ash from my ciggarete. well hes real against it and starts flipping so i told him your just taking ur anger out on me. (mad about a lot of other family issues dont really wanna get intot hem on net). but like he starts going u will miss me when im gone and stumbling over his words

most of our fights consist of him tryign to prove me wrong. which i can admit i am wrong a lot of times, but most things he picks, I AM NOT WRONG. he says im a teenager an di think i know it all. i dont but i know what i know, so at this instance i proved him wrong earlier today abotu some udmb little thing like #of gears in a car. he freaked out saying im mr know it all, but nah im not i just know what i know. he in his mind thinks hes right at all time and is never worng. sometimes hes right, granted, but a lot of the time his way is either totally unesecary or just plain old wrong.

basicially i ended my talking to him with lets see if i talk at your funeral, he forced me into it byu saing u will miss me, which i wont. he says i dont respect him, i told him i dont, and hten he trys pulling you dont respect your mother, and well i do, i do everythign she sayss ometimes i forget but when she reminds me i will do it.

i dunno what to do with this guy, he ****ing sent ME to therapy. i told him he needs it on many occasions, getting mom to get him into it as soon as she is home tomorow

don't matter if right or wrong. do as father says or leave. either way you are being the bigger man. If you can **** up for ego and let him believe he is great then that truly is a sign of you being the bigger man. Same goes for if you have the resposibility to go out find a job, and live on your own with out him. either way you will have a better relationship and be MUCH happier. even if he's wrong he is your lifeforce at this moment.

but I agree with mtdewelf, its their house and you have to abide by their rules.

 
Please learn proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling. That was a PIA to read.

Your story is childish. Not to be a prick, but you think other people don't have to deal with the same problems? If not worse. **** it up, learn to deal with your own problems. In the end you will learn from it all, and maybe gain more respect for your father when you're older.

Or you could slit your wrists you EMO ***!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and whats this crap about sending your car out for inspection? im still lost as to why you got in trouble for having eye drops, that is unless visine means something different to kids these days than it normally does.
