Last minute decision

Should I have the port facing up or back for my hdc3 18.

The sub is gonna face up either way...just dont worry about any other variables.

Just want some opinions on this simple question.

I just think having the port facing back/out the hatch will more than having the port facing up... kinda common sense.

Thanks for the help-im gonna start the build in a couple days.

depends on how you want it really. it may be louder with the port going to the back.

thanks and yea im going with that.

i asked because the mounting depth is 9.75" and DJ said i should have 2" to the nearest surface.

SO i need to make the box a lil taller
