laptop problems...its annoying

i got a HP pavillion dv2000 notebook, whenever the fan runs, it makes this annoying grinding/vibrating sound. I updated BIOS and it still is f'ed up..anyone know what it could be?

i've had terrible experiences with hp laptops

just wait till it starts turning itself off randomly. they're super fun

try cleaning it out.....

they **** up dust and stuff and overheat, which causes most of the problems

i don't think those problems are specific to hp's, they're just notorious for it

sounds like your fan's giving you a heads up

alright thanks, ive taken it apart once already, i dint notice anything unusal, and its only 2 months old, the noise is soo annoying, you can hear it over music

probably just a bad fan

they're only a few bucks, but it's worth it to replace it before heat starts killing off your components

it'll get the battery 1st

Get on ebay and find a replacement fan for it. Like Heyman said your bearings are most likely fried.
