X2, If you can find an old school OPTI Drive, Like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/Lanzar-OptiDrive-TMS-4-Channel-Early-90s-Pre-Pyramid_W0QQitemZ5816213392QQcategoryZ4950QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Get it! Those were the baddest amps around in there time. There's a few more on ebay as well. The opti amps are nice, solid, underrated I would definitely use them, but the other lines are really entry level budget amps.
The opti's are MANUFACTURER rated down to something like .5ohms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifoooooh, is that amp 1ohm stable? otherwise you are gonna run it in series and waste the point of dual voice coils? Stuff to consider.
Yes, but the 1200d is not one of the original optis.i had a 1200d for about a week running at 1 ohm and it blew, but my friend has had his running at .5 for about 3 weeks now and he doesnt have any problems with it
