alright i need an amp for my 2 12's they are audiobahn's awc12t's 500 rms dual 4 ohm voice coil 500 watts a piece do you think this amp would be good? its a good price i think

It's not a bad buy - unfortunately it's WAY over-rated.

I can't tell you the exact power of that amp, but I can tell you the 268 was tested at 923w bridged, the 258 is rumored to be around 700, and I know the 238 isn't more than 300. So the 258 has to be in the 500-600w range.

For ~$130 it's not a bad buy at all, and 250-300w per sub would be plenty of power to get them moving pretty well, but you could probably do better for not a whole lot more money.

FWIW - there's a pretty steady flow of Vibe 1200D and 1800D refurb's on ebay, there's even a couple Heritage 2600D's - all for ~$140-160. They all use basically the same board and all will do 1000w+ at 1 ohm which would be ideal for a pair of 500w dvc 4's. The $111 1200D's are probably the best deal out there for cheap sub power.
