The opti4000d has similar board as the ss xxx6500 and the opti6000d has similar board as the ss xxx10000. Actualy the lanzar is better, has more caps and better parts.

6000 is the counterpart to the soundstream xxx-10k and it has muuuuccchhh better components.

Yes, imho the lanzar opti amps are nice for the money. They make one ok opti sub. I would stay away from the rest of there new stuff.

correct on the strappable & expect to pay around 900 for one used & in good condition. There are a couple on ebay, though not sure if ebay is the route to take.
