have u even used one? the board is very similar to the ED nine.1. they do rated power (I know I'm using 2). find that one on ebay, its sitting pretty low right now

It'll do 1000-1200 at 1 ohm.

The manual rates it at 1000 @ 1.33.

The board is similar to a lot of the lower priced 1000w @ 1 sub amps.

It's identical, from what I can tell, to the Vibe1800D. Possibly identical to the opti1400D. There's a soundstream that's real close, a planet audio, probably others.

Thats way to underpowered for that sub then. How about swiss audio? Specifically the SDX1500C.

yea, into a reactive load I'm sure.. I don't know about you, but I don't care about 'apparent' power..

I clamped one I installed in my uncle's mustang doing around 1250 into a 1ohm dummy load at around 12.8-13V. They are pretty much the same amp as the older 1800D as n2audio said.

they're strappable as far as i've seen as well, so may be an option to grab more than one later on if possible.

Dc rates there subs low, if its a 1000Watts RMs form DC then itll take 1500 no problem.

Yup. Its 1000RMS and 2000Peak. As another said DC subs are way under rated.
