their posted price on there site is over $500 a bit much compared to many other proven subs in 15" in that price range

Not all lanzar subs totally **** azz.Just most of them. The same thing with Mtx not all their subs ****. that Lanzar sub looks beastly. I wouldn't try it for $500+

Since you can pick that sub up for $250 it seems worth trying...I would venture to guess its loud as hell when used correctly.

Lol Anything less than the optidrive amps and subs are crap from lanzar. This sub will crush the mtx 9500 sub, so yes, it is better than mtx.
