i had a single 10" L7 (silver cone, 05-06 model) ported doing 134.9 in the trunk of a monte carlo on only 350 watts. only half of its RMS. yes, L7's pound.

Lakota, what size/tuning would you recommend for a loud daily driver? I was thinking around 3 cubes per sub @ 37?

If you want loud on the meter I recommend doing a small box with aeroports. If you want something more musical that doesn't have such a huge peak do a little bit bigger box.

SPL - 1.75-2.25 cubes maybe? I don't have firsthand experience with the 12's so I'm only guessing.

Daily - 2.5-2.75ish cubes.

I like being tuned around 35hz. It's really up to the listener. If you do external aeroports you can easily swap your tuning in a couple minutes to whatever you like.

If i do a box with 2- 3''W x 13.25''H x 14.5''D slot ports. I am hoping this gets me somewhere, i gave up on the Memphis M3's They just arent loud enough. I am considering using 2 Kicker ZX 1500.1's or 2 ZX 1000.1's or 1 zx 2500.1 to power them

My box is going to be 36''W x 15''H x 25.75''D

Is this gonna do me any good in a 4 dr blazer i want it to be loud but still be able to listen to it.

I will be running them on a Memphis PR 1.1000 until i decide between 2 ZX 1000.1's or 2 zx 1500.1's or a single zx 2500.1, it will be some time before i get the money for any of those

I am waiting for a pair L7 12''s to come in this tuesday i am planning to have it setup with subs up and ports back
