I know, they amaze me how clean their response is. I think since my box is tuned so high, they hit really ****ing hard, i'm sure you know what i'm talking about, but until now, i never really knew what a system felt like like that hits really hard, it suprises you every time.

I doubt it, I think I would lose a LOT of spl. I love the way it sounds now, nice and loud.

Those massive amps are really seckise
I think before getting a 3000wrms amp I could make sure and get that new alt that you have in your sig....
with a small 90amp alt only pushing around 800watts rms or so, I was able to drain my battery driving around town....
just a thought before u spend the money on the amp and dont have enough power to it...

Yeah get at least a 160-180 alt. I guess your gonna get a 200. and get another Batt. You can get them cheap at Walmart and they have good warrenty's.

everybody has their own opinions on them....some will say L7 and some will say type-R....personally Im not the biggest fan of kicker subs, maybe because I havnt heard any that were actually put to good use...they probably work pretty well if all the people around here werent idiots
I think the L7 would probably be better if your going for SPL and SQ/lows I think the type-r would probably be the way to go, I know people will argue about it now but whatever....also tho....the type-r wouldnt be able to take as much power as the L7....
so its basically setup dependant and what you want to go with....either way they are both good subs for cheap
and honestly if I didnt already have a mtx9500 I probably would have went with the L7s because they are cheaper than the 9500s....
and if you already have L7s there is no point in buying type-Rs....and I would buy the alt before the amp....you wount be able to get much out of the amp with a stock alt and you will find yourself probably killing your car sitting at a stoplight or something....almost had it happen to me with my stock alt only pushing 800-1k watts to one sub....

So keep the L7s ,Upgrade my electrical ,now onto the amp question,im running them off 1200wRMS they get pretty loud but i need louder,if i ran the P3000.1 amp to them i would notice a HUGE difference in output correct? but i dont have a warranty on them so it would be risky. Now if i ran the PCA2000D amp it prolly would be a little safer but will the difference in output be good?
Or a couple of Opti 2000ds.........
