I know everyone bashes the L7 as far as durability and SQ goes, but if put in a sealed box, can they sound pretty decent and hold up?? How about compared to a CVX and CVR?? Thanks

put it in a ported box and figure out a nice frequency to tune it at and it will sound better than in a sealed box

Id say there SQ is somewhat ok. They dont sound like shit, but if your wanting more SQ sub... well I would get a CVX.

thats nonsense. when tuned and installed properly the sq is decent at the very least.

well its an SPL driver.. so i wouldnt expect ear *** but ive heard they can get some ok/decent SQ

i had a 15inch l7 in a 3.4 sealed box sound pretty good and never had anyproblems with it breaking or anythign
