The sub 'breaking in' is merely a combination of the suspension soft parts wearing into compliance (start out stiffer than suppose to be/will be) and possibly excess glue melting off as the coil heats up. Its not like an engine with a break-in period where you could damage something. At worst you will have to re-adjust your amplifier gains as your sub settles into its regular compliance/performance and begins moving abit more (as suspension loosens).Hope u guys are right. I bought it online and it would be a pain to ship it back to exchange.
