L7 break-in period....

The kicker manual say to break-in for 2 weeks, but doesn't say exactly how many hours total. I've used it for 6 hours already, but its hard not to crank it up to see what this baby can do.

The sub 'breaking in' is merely a combination of the suspension soft parts wearing into compliance (start out stiffer than suppose to be/will be) and possibly excess glue melting off as the coil heats up. Its not like an engine with a break-in period where you could damage something. At worst you will have to re-adjust your amplifier gains as your sub settles into its regular compliance/performance and begins moving abit more (as suspension loosens).

Let it wang. If you listen closely, you'll notice it will actually get abit louder and clearer (probably) as it breaks in, that's it.
