L7s and Hifonics

I'm getting two brand new 15" Kicker L7s (dual 4 ohm, 1000 watts RMS, $350 for both) and I wanted to know the best amp to run them with. I wanted a BXi2010D or a BXi2610D, but I'm pretty much open to anything.

I was also thinking about building a box myself. I found a cool enslosure calculator on RE Audio's site and I think it would work for my L7s (right?). The red, required, numbers are 27, 16, 21, 21, .75, 3, 5. This would give me about 3.5 cubes for each and tuned at 32 Hz. And I've got an 02 Explorer w/ the third row, but it's gonna be laid down. I wouldn't quite say Hifonics are the best amps but there brutus line-up are pretty good.

I would run it with the Bxi2610D in an explorer with the "big-3" electrical upgrade and a 2nd battery (kinetic?).

for the 459 they want for the 2610 hifonics go with the crunch GP 3000d pro. for 450 here

The RE caculator isnt very accurate. I suggest you down load winISD and use that.

I'd run the BXI 2010D, you have to remember the hifonics amp dont exactly put out their rated power (over rated.)

don't actually use the prices from sonicelectronix. i can get it cheaper, but i've got these bookmarked so i was just putting them up for spec references.

and what do you suggest that's better. i like the hifonics mainly because they're pretty cheap and my friend loves his.

this would be wayyy too small. 600 watts rms for one? unless you're suggesting that i run one to each sub. and where would i buy one of these?
