L7 owners

I have some questions too. I'm buying a single 15 L7 next month and it will be powered by a Directed 1100d. My car is wired with 4 gauge power and ground wire, is that big enough? Also is 8 gauge good enough to wire the sub and connect the sub to the amp?

yeah you will be fine with that wiring.

I have to L7 12's running of a PG xenon 200.4, sounds ok and gets plenty loud in a hatchback. Bass is not overwhelming the mids/highs. Ive also run them off a hifonics 1500.. sounded like poo but did have much more output.

yea, but i require him to by a bigger gauge. just to be safe. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif 1/0 sounds perfect.
Safe? What does that amp recommend/require? If it says 4gauge then 4gauge it is. I ran 4 gauge with mine before and I was fine.

I put my L7s in my dads expy in a 9ft^3 box tuned to 30Hz with a Directed Viper 1200.1d on it at 1 Ohm and Oh my god its loud and we havent really pushed them yet, gain is less than 1/4 of the way up
