L7 best tuning???

i did a search and found out that most L7 users tune their boxes between 35-45hz.. I was thinking about an 8cubes enclosure tuned to 32hz for a pair of 15s... is this fine? or should i tune higher? Will the L7s hit lower if i tune to 32 rather than 35?

I listen to rap/hiphop!!!

Yea I'd go with at least 35hz for rap, with a box that big you'll have some good lowend.

3.6 cubes @ 32hz i did once for 1 15'' L7 sounded good but you need to make the box bigger if you want more lows.

ya, and look at your subs, what are they recommended to be in something like 27Hz? tuned lower does sound better if your going for more sq, but 40 would be about right if you listen to only rap/hip hop and want to be loud.

im tuned to 33hz now with my 4 15's and all honesly they bang hard as a mutha! but trust me tuned higher 35-7hz, i got way to much low end and only giving subs about 3.6-8 cubes each

so go 35hz plus i totally disagree with 35hz sound like ***. i bet i can use his same setup and get more low end and at the same time be twice as loud on the meter than what he is now. and no im not bashing. just dont comment on something u dont have much experience with. baised on ur answer u havent heard an good loud system tuned higher.

6.5 cubes per 15 tuned 32 cant sound too good. yea on chopped and screwed songs. enclouser that large tuned that low just cant sound good on all music. trust me for an good sounding system id rather have something that can SLam the lows, at the Same Time punch tha shit out ya with the high bass. but thats just my 2 cents
