L5s aren't loud anymore.

do tell me why? tell me what differences there are from an old model L5 to L7 and justify spending 200 bucks more than he has to after selling his l5's for L7's.
He mentioned about getting a better amp aswell, so I hinted at him getting the l7s. I think he should save up for a better everything. Even if he didnt upgrade the amp, ide wager to say the new l7s would walk all over the old l5s he has now without a doubt. Better woofers all the way around.

new L7's are WAY less sensitive than the old ones

i got a 2002 wanging HARD off of a boss amp back in the day, and i've got 900 rms going to each of my 2006's and they barely move

143.xdB, but still nothing for 2 15's

they want more DRINK, baby

It's purple

Nope:D All jokes aside, check out dd, or audioque.
thanks... i just talked to the factory (they're in oklahoma too, 7 miles away) and some authorized dealers.. the guy at the authorized dealer said $300 for a 2500a 15"... that about right? and is this the one i should be going after or what?

how much do you guys think i get rid of my hifonics bx1605d for...

600wrms per sub.. the amp pushes 1600wrms.. i'm not pushing enough? its loud don't get me wrong I just need more. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
honestly what do you guys suggest?
honestly its all in the box. i built a 3.0 cube for my type R tuned to 30hz. did a 42 even in kick. then got a loud box and did a 46.2 with 400 actual watts

are you talkin about 42dB because that is horrible i hope your talking about 142/146.2 lol maybe i'm confused?

dude, it's all in the box, what's so hard to understand??? you really should shoot for 5 ft^3 net ~ 34~38Hz w/ 50 in^2 port area.... add a little height, and depth and bam, you're good to go lol
i know it's all in the box but i'm sorry there's no way unless it was in a CRX with an AC mic or old TL that he pulled a 142 in the kick with 400 watts.

audio que is supposed to e coming out with an 18" HD3 soon, RE SX 18 or used XXX 18, if you get a bigger amp a MT18 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

atomic APX

not that many 18s out there, alot of 15s

How about some memphis subs? Mabey M3's? I had kicker l5's before u need a lil more power than recommended to make them bang. Memphis dont require alot of power to bang cuz their sensitivity around 92db and kicker has them at around 87db.
