small bass...6.5" or 8"?

hey guys, im sellin a lot of my stuff, and goin smaller and simpler. not lookin for anything thunderous, just a small sub that i toss anywhere that will give me some noticable low range (and sound great doing it). Now the dilemma: the 6.5" wonder woofer by elemental designs (150 RMS) or the Ascendant Audio Assassin 8" sub (350 RMS). I'm not too familiar with AA, but i know eD makes some good stuff. How is the AA as far as build quality? particularly the Assassin line, the 8" is only $50! Whats weirder is the 12s are $90. Mind you, they are SVC subs, the magnets are pretty big, and do look to be built pretty nicely. What are you're thoughts on AA assasin and the eD wonder woofer? this is goin in my Alero, and am still up in the air for amp. I got my comps set out (SLC' 265's) and Im thinkin the eD 9.4 (front 2 for the comps, rear channels for 1 small sub.) Between those two, I'd definitely go with the Assassin. You may also want to look into the RE8. I've heard some good things about it. The biggest reason most people don't use a 4 channel amp to power their sub is that their sub(s) require more wattage than the 4 channal amp can put out on one channal. If you only want to run an 8", you may be able to pull it off. There are some good 8" subs out there and I'm sure others can give you some good info on it. I haven't personally ran anything smaller than a 12" so I can't give you much more.

hmm i forgot about the RE8, well thats a possible candidate as well. Do you know how much they are off the companys website? They don't list there prices on there
