L5 vs L7???

ask Ricktc bout this. I got L7's, I think he would tell you the same although some feel the difference isnt worth the price.

yes, there are many difference's between

the L5 is basically like the first generation L7 we introduced in 2000, with the exception of a steel basket over the aluminum one we had.

Now the new L7's will handle more than double the power, more Xmax, different cone, and the 2004's are a whole new breed of L7 over the 2003.

So if you have medium power, the L5 is awesome, plays in the same enclosures as the L7. But if you have more power to add, the L7 is the logical choice.

well i am gettin the hifonics bx1500d and if i got the l7s, i would prob go for the 2003 model becuz of price, so basically what i got out of this thread is that the L5 and the 2003 model of the L7 are preaty much the same, one just handels more power, and then the 2004 model is alot better? right.... so if i wasnt going to buy the 04 model of the l7, i should just go for the l5 and save some money??

no, the L5 is like the 2000 model...nothing like the 2002-2003 L7
