L5 and L7 in same box?

I currently have a single 12" l5 and i was by itself in a box but i decided to upgrade to two. I ordered the box for two, wires, cap., etc. The box and cap came but there was a problem with the L5 and i called and they said they could ship me an L7 for free for the problems. Will it work to put an 04 L5 and L7 in the same box?

It will sound like crap. The two subs have different requirements, resonant freqs, efficiencies, etc. They will each be doing their own thing and there will ba a ton of cancellation. Output will be disappointing, frequency response will be attrocious and the overall result will be other than pleasing.

listen, keep the L7, sell the L5 and your audiobahn amp , with the cash from those put it twords a better amp , use that as your temp system until you save enough cash to get another L7

one would assume.. but i guess those woofers are close enough to each other to kinda not be horrible..?

only reason i say this is cause i sat in a blazer with one of each and it was one of the loudest at the comp that i was at(in that class of course). cancellation didnt seem to be a huge issue.. sq was average.. but very high volume so it was kinda hard to tell.. and his fronts sucked.

either way.. maybe this guy was just lucky and it worked out for him.. i would never do it though..

and im sure most other woofers would deffinately sound shitty together
