L shaped Box

hey ill be having a box built soon for 2 tempest 15s and i was wondering if this kinda box would work. My dimensions are 34W x 28D x 12H and then on the end towards the trunk it will have a 6H x 18W x 34 L addition so theres enough height to mount the subs. i figured out the 2 pieces seperatly and got 8.73 cubes. is this right or will it work and does it make sense. And does this sound like enough space for 2 tempests? thanks
