I was going to get a zx1500 but I can get a kx2500 for not too much more so I am considering getting a kx2500 instead. But I'm just wondering if it will be too much for two 15 inch 2005 kicker L5s.

They are dual 4 ohm subs so I will be running it at a 1 ohm load.

The kx2500 run good at 1 ohm? I know its 2 ohm stable but kicker amps have been known to run below their stable ohm load.

they will do 1ohms
But stock electrical is not going to cut it.
Its not completely stock, its just not upgraded a whole lot. Ive done the big 3 in 2 guage wire. I just got my alternator replaced because my last one quit on me. I'm pretty sure its 120 amp...might be a tad smaller. Also have a everstart battery under the hood from walmart.

I had one to my L5 12's ported daily. But if you can, try to keep it at 2 ohm.
Wow! You had 2500 watts goin to one 12 inch L5?

But I can't wire it at 2 ohm because my subs are dual 4 ohm. But I figured after box rise and everything I would be at 2 or higher so I would be ok.
