kx1200 at 1/2 ohm

buddy of mine is hooking up 2 l7 15's but he already has both subs and they are d2's. he wants to get my other kx1200 but it will have to be at 1/2 ohm. will amp run at 1/2 ohm or will burn up? or basically how long do you think it will last at 1/2?

well it is 1 ohm stable so i'm guessing it may be able too. but i haven't tried it myself. will he be strapping the two ? if so why not just run one to each and gain match?

KX are 1ohm stable.

ZX are 2ohm stable.

SX are 1ohm stable.

It might with box rise but prolly not worth the risk.
