considering looking into an amp thatll burp .25ohm. so this is up for sale.

first off i wanna dd this is the best daily driver off 12v amp i have ever used. its efficent,uunderrated, and poweful. ive ran it at .7dcr 1ohm nominal as did the owner before me (joel-vetkilr). this baby has brought me nothign but joy on my 4hp. but i need something thatll go lower imps....so its time has come.

anyone who's used this amp knows how solid it is. 1 ohm off 12v i still got a good 2500, possibly even more out of it.

Why is that? This a good amp on the electrical system? Just wondering because my kx2500 is going to be here tomorrow and I will be running it at 1 ohm and I dont have the best electrical system there is.

correct....i have a 90amp alty and 2 red tops and i never dipped under 12v. only times itd go under are when im idleing for more than 2 min and the bass is dropping. and this is at 1 ohm too.

Ive got a 120 amp alt and just the battery under the hood. I dib under 12 volts with my bx1605d. I am hoping that the hifonics is just a power hog. You ever have any problems running it at 1 ohm?

nothing at all. only time it ever got close to hot was after like 30min of straight bass. even then it wasnt that hot. this is off 12v. 14-15v and thisll really shine.

id recommend a battery in the back for it but you'll still be fine with it. i would be suprised ifu went under 12v with 2-3k rpm....

i dont see a 2500d or any other amp being better / much better? car audio is an addiciton that many of us suffer with, why sell an amp you know works well? only to buy an amp that might have problems?

there was a test on here a few months ago comparing the orion 2500d, this kx, and a 20.1....and the kicker came out on top cinsidering ti made the power most efficently out of the 3. and it makes it power at 2 ohms and not .5ohm.... yes, it is better.

iirc the test MIGHT have been wiht a zx, but that has the same board and in all essence is practically the same amp
