boomin spl built the recone kits for me - baskets (standard 6 spoke 18"), soft parts, glue, terminals, dustcaps ect. i built them up when the recones got to me. they are dual 1 ohm 18's. standard 3 inch coil, round copper. i only have 1kw to give them thus far, so i gotta save up a few bucks to get 3~4kw for them. the motor for the konaki is almost identical to the DD 9500G or the AudioQue HDC3 A.

my goal is to make it swappable. no modification of my VW GTi. seats fold down, IDQ15's remove, konaki 18's slide in, quick connects on all the wires, and im rollin.

so that is my design goal. hopefully everything fits the way i want it to fit.

yes. this is my trunk currently.

i just took out the idq's and they are on the floor right now. like i said, my goal is to be able to remove the idq's when i want to street beat with the 18's within 30 minutes. i had to do some re-design work because my original width that i thought i had was a few inches too much. i was prolly thinking of the width i have (37") as inner dimensions and i added the walls to that . i dont know. but i now have 36hz tuning and 8.6 cubes. still should be killer.
