Does this... http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KOL-AK0 use Kolossus 1/0? That's what I used in my last install, and I just compared some leftover to my Kicker Hyperflex and its half the size.

I thought that the gauge of a particular wire is just a way to measure how big it is. 1/0 wire should be the same thickness no matter where you get it. It may not be made of the same material or have the same number of strands, but 1/0 should be the same size whether you get it from kicker, Knu, or the autoparts store down the street. If they are a different thickness then they should be a different gauge. If that Knu wire is 1/0 then I would guess that the Kicker wire you have is just a bigger gauge.

well, on knus site, it says that theier 1/0 wire is almost 2/0 wire according to the AWG standard.....and that their 4 gauge wire is supposed to be closer to 3 gauge wire.......

Then I wonder what Kicker labels that big stuff as. I think everyone should just use the AWG standard... that's why it's called the standard...

do a search for power acoustiks 2ga amp kits and tell me if the MANUFACTURE says something then it MUST be true....

can you get us a better pic? im having a hard time believing this. it's not Kolossus Kable if you're asking us. it should say so on the wire itself.
