Kinetik brand neccessary? Cheaper batteries for same power?

Just wondering if i can get the output of the larger kinetiks for cheaper. Gonna be cutin it close on the budget, and seeing that a Kinetik is $300+, wondering if maybe someone knows of some decent battery or batteries that would supply the same power for cheaper.

my buddy just bought like 3 dry-cell batteries, not very expensive i dontthink, maybe like 80 a peice, if u got a bunch of screens get 3 if not get 2

Hmm, question about this. Would it be a bad idea to run the mono amp (2000 w rms) on lets say a kinetik 2000, and then run my 4ch amp (40wrms x 4) on my regular startup battery? I have a 300rms amp on my startup battery atm and its fine.

this all said, running a 130amp alternator (will eventually be upgraded, but not anytime soon)

Definitely don't run a single 600 on that much power. I did, because I'm a retard, and it basically exploded. No fault of the product, just good old fashioned user error

sssoooo, still looking for any reccomendations hehe. Trying to get decent power, enough for around 2300w RMS, without the cost of the kinetik 2400 ($300+)

yeah a kinetik 2400 is 300 shipped. i wouldnt mind the price on the 2000, but that wouldnt be enough power for both my amps. Thats why i am wondering if i could run my 4ch amp to my regular startup battery (its less power then my current amp which is running on it) then run my sub amp to the kinetik 2000. Or would this put too much of a load on my alternator?

Surprised it isn't mentioned yet. Make absolutely sure the battery you buy is SEALED. A battery that is vented or has filler caps can very easily leak acid into the cabin and have deadly fumes boil out of the battery when heated.
