Knukonceptz or Kicker?

The only Knu wire that's Copper Clad Aluminum is the KLMX line, which is pretty cheap and sort of usable, the Fleks line is pure copper just like the Kicker stuff.
I used that line for my big 3. but fleks for everything else. The Clad Aluminum is not too flexible but still usable.

Knu all the way.

I would actually go with kicker on this one. Seems like it gives you more stuff
http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KFX-PK20

What you get:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Kicker-PKD1-0-1-Gauge-Car-Amplifier-Install-Wiring-Kit_W0QQitemZ290356174049QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item439a939ce1

What you get:

So kicker gets 3 more feet of 0 gauge. An extra dist block, but isn't fused. 3 feet less of 4 gauge. No split loom but seems like its tekflexed(sp?). Kicker is also 10 dollars more, but gets free shipping. So it really is a toss up, comes down to personal preference.

Are you seriously comparing ebay prices versus factory warranty with top notch customer service?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif Fused vs unfused?

Come on, that's not an apples to apples comparison. Both make great products. Kicker is more expensive, but arguably a slightly higher grade. Knu is still a great product for much less money.

i've dealt with monster, streetwires, stinger, and welding wire //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif but just upgraded to kolossus fleks and this stuff is great, i'm very happy with it and will buy knu again in the future. it is flexible and very fine strands.

only thing is, the strands are so fine the set screw terminals on my amp compressed the hell out of it so when i unscrewed it to take the wire out it just fell out after about an eighth of a turn...and there were quite a few severed strands

I actually emailed knu about an item I didn't buy from them.
I told them I had a fuse holder and it was missing the 8 gauge wire compession fitting and that I was very angry, which was true, but I conveniently left out the part that I bought it on craigslist.

They shipped it to me, I got it 2 days later, no questions asked.

that is theft //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

i have both in my car and cant really tell a difference between my kicker 1/0 and my knu flex cable not the older Kolossus cable. I thought that stuff sucked and was stiff as hell compared to the knu flex or hyperflex. however there is a slight color difference, but i doubt you care about that

however my choice would be the kicker wire. just a personal preference

I have the KLMX 0/1 ga wire and also the Kolossus 4 ga, and both look like the same type wire. The KLMX is CCA, while the Kolossus is tinned Copper wire. I used to have a lot of Rockford wire that was straight out pure copper wire, not that CCA junk or the tinned Copper wire. If it's just a street type system it's not gonna make a noticeable difference.

knu ftmfw. altho if you were buying just bulk wire and not a kit id say get monster cable off ebay from audiosavings. shiit is so cheap i paid 60 bucks flat for 25 feet of 1/0 and it has ****n close to as much as the knu. it just isnt very flexible but that doesnt bother me at 2.30 a foot or whatever

if your comparing the Knu Fleks vs Kicker Hyperflex, price is the only thing that would make my decision as they are both what and what with each other.
Yep fleks = hyperflex it's down to price.

I would only buy knu fleks, not the cheaper or less flexible stuff.
