knuconceptz wire

i only use welding wire and its great. if you have to order offline though, i would just get the knuconceptz stuff. welding cable is alot cheaper if you just go into a welding store and get it. most of the time they will give you a good deal. i got 25 feet of 1/0gauge welding cable for $25 at airgas last week cause the guy said it had been slow and he just wanted to sell something.

Whats the difference between the KLMX and the Kolossus 1/0 wire? How do these wires compare to welding wire? What is the link to buy welding wire?
Description: KnuKonceptz continues to blaze new trails for automotive audio enthusiasts with its new Copper Clad Aluminum Cable dubbed 'KLMX'. Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA) is made up of 90% Aluminum and 10% Copper. Consisting of 66.88mm^2 of CCA the KLM Kable is equal in size to the Kolossus Kable' date=' but is designed for lighter current loads and not lightening your wallet.[/quote']

Kolossus Fleks Kable 1/0 Black Power Wire features 5145 Tinned Strands of Pure Oxygen Free Copper and a new Ultra Flex Matte PVC Jacket. Our new jacket allows for improved flexibility and maintains exceptional resistance to abrasion, oil, and extreme temperatures (-40 to 105 C). Capable of loads over 300A. This product can be used in Marine applications. Price is per one foot

What I don't get is why CCA instead of using all OFC? I mean I see the uses lighter current loads which leads to how does it affect the power wire itself to the amp?

It's cheaper; they just did it so they had a cheaper line of power wire. OFC is superior, but much more expensive.

It is just decreases the power handling. 1/0 Kolossus Fleks can handle 300A, 1/0 KLMX can handle 250A. 4awg Kolossus can take 150A, 4awg KLMX can take 100A, and so on.

I just got in the KLMX and Kolossus Fleks, and I love them both. The Kolossus is a noticeably better and more flexible wire, but the KLMX is nice too. I did the big 3 with this stuff while upgrading my stereo system wiring with 1/0 ga, coming from 8 ga. After I hooked my battery up, I cranked my truck and I couldnt believe how fast it turned over. I'm kind of getting off subject but so far, but I absolutely love this stuff.

I decided to go with the Flecks when I was in the market for wire for my Sundown 1200d.

I only wanted to install it once and did not want to go with a less flexible wire.

Very good wire but more expensive.

Even though its more money, I think I will stick with Knu for my wiring.

Great products.
