needs car audio rehab
my buddy went and bought some new speakers for his e36 M3 the other day at fry's electronics and when he came out, the car wouldn't start. the alarm would chirp and the remote was saying someone was breaking into the car. it's pretty much been ruled down to the starter kill on the alarm. he had 3 of the installers there looking at it and none could figure out how to disarm the starter kill. the alarm is a Cliford but we don't know the model or anything.
anyone familiar with starter kills and alarms? currently it's just sitting in the parking lot... i suggested getting it rolling and pop the clutch to start it up and drive it somewhere where that could fix it, but the guys there said it wouldn't work. they already proved their incompetence though and the one guy didn't even know you had to push in the clutch to start it so i didn't really listen to anything he had to say after that...
