youre wasting your time...did it for a summer in high school. get out now and go get another job. the only one i sold was to my dad.

i gotta say though, those things are the balls...

My buddy did it for a short time. He brought over a carpet cleaner or at least I think that was it and it tore up the carpet in our other friends house that he was demoing it at..lol

Yeah, so basically, i've figured out that these guys do pay people, at least i know that much.

The vacuum really does kick ***.

and I dont have any other job leads atm...

so with all that in mind, am I still wasting my time, or is there a chance I'll make some money in this? while looking for a better job

Some of those outfits place confederates in the sales group to make it look like it can be done and people are getting paid. Fact is they make a lot of their money by people like you selling a few units to family. I think youare wasting your time, but maybe you are a good salesman and can do something with it.

Yes, they **** so bad that ours is 30 years old and my grandmothers is 30 years old and they still clean better than anything new out there.
Only downside to a kirby is its weight.
My moms 30 year old filter queen still runs too, but I am not using it daily to clean a house. It is a big fat inconvenient pig. By todays standards with cyclonic tech being place in many mainstream vacs, Kirby is outdated. I don't necessarily need it to last 30 years over other attributes I care about. From those standpoints, the kirby sux. Now go in the corner and ******** to your kirby.

He just started doing sales, he can get you the bottom price He can get. Someone who has been doing it for longer can help you better.

Kirby is too much work and you Have to be a dick in my opinion, but $$$ can be made. Stick with it for awhile, you'll either start selling or get burnt out.

I have seen them on craigslist from time to time. I have been thinking about getting one for a while. My current one, a bissle, isn't all that good.

Plus, you can get a used Kirby cheaper than a Dyson...and I am not a fan of all that plastic.
