Only Tiger Woods can rival LeBron James for a cataclysmic and immediate fall from grace.

Granted, Tiger only slept with 20 or 30 platinum tramps to destroy all his public goodwill.

LeBron had to screw a whole city.

i agree, lebron has not yet filled mjs shoes. i doubt he ever will. he is young tho
Its far too late. MJ was already MJ by Lebron's current age. Jordan was simply a natural. And by that I dont mean a natural at basketball, James and many other good players are/have been that. Jordan was a natural at being THE superstar, dominating in virtually every way.
No one in the game today will have the class and respect that MJ had.
Period.
Absolutely. Nor the intelligence. Its not talked about much, but Jordan is very smart, and it showed in his game play and his leadership. He wasn't just a guy with a lightning fast step towards the basket like the 'superstars' today, he was an on-the-court 4-star general.
People always mention Jordan's 60+ point games. The ironic part is, he could easily have had 10X more of them if he'd wanted to. As an avid spectator and Jordan fan through his entire career, it was easy to see his general game plan night in and night out. He came out and tried to get his teammates into their groove. Only when Scottie was missing his 17ft jumpers and couldnt drive to the basket, and only when Kerr or Armstrong couldn't drop the 3-pointers, that's when Jordan took control and started schooling people. Those 45 point nights, the 55 point nights, the 60 point nights... most of them in the regular season were simply nights his other teammates couldn't beg, borrow or steal a basket themselves. So Jordan brought the win home, otherwise he was content to sit back and help the other Bulls win the game. Smart. It kept a team cohesive, even with such a huge superstar. It kept the other teammates happy. It gave multiple ways to beat a team, making it hard to defend them from one night to another. And through all that, he still managed to put up unearthly stats for himself. Even if someone comes along to wins 4 back to back, 6 total rings, or win 72 regular season games (out of 82)... I still doubt they would be the player Jordan was.

Shaq fucked Orlando much worse when he left to go to LA. He swore up and down he wasn't leaving Orlando, but on the very last day possible for trades, he left. The Magic had no idea he was leaving, and had literally no time to replace him. It screwed the team for the entire season, since it left them a gaping hole in their salary cap, that they were not allowed to fill until the following trade season. Did Shaq fall from grace?

These players are groomed to be greedy. The fans want to 'buy' their great team of players, but then get butthurt when their players treat them as merely a boss who is no longer making them the best job offer. Professional sports are so much a business these days, and is so laughably not about honor, faith... or loyalty. Dont like it? You allowed it to happen, by continuing to buy those multi-thousand dollar season tickets, the $75 sports jerseys, the $20 posters, the $10 over-sized foam "we're #1" hands, the official authentic NFL ashtray with flip-out beer mug holder. You made this bed, deal with it. He's gone, and he's not coming back. You need to pay more to purchase the loyalty to seek.

I never was a Bron fan and now i have reason to like him LESS...

I cant wait to see how they fill out the rest of the team (9 players) with about $5.27 left in payroll. It really doesnt matter what they (Miami) does in the regular season, it all comes down to a 1/2 court game in the playoffs, just ask Orlando, and Boston.

If Bymun is anywhere near healthy LA still have to much size. Decent big man will always beat a good lil man in basketball....

good luck Bron even if I think it was a BISH move.... and for the record I agree with Gilbert "YOU DID QUIT"

Lebron owes Cleveland nothing. He signed an extension there and they still couldn't get a "star" second player to play with him in the 7 years he was there. Hell, he should have bounced 3 years ago when he had the chance.
