Kinetik HC800 or Optima Yellow Top?

Going to get a new battery to accompany a new alternator. The only time I'll run the system with the car off is at comps (MECA AS1). Which would be better for my situation?

I did some searching, but didn't find a direct comparison of these two. The HC800 would be my starting battery also. . . trying not to go above 1000CA. I looked at the Deka's, but they won't fit under my hood.

In terms of durability, which would last longer? Also, which one has a faster discharge/response? I'm kinda worried because the HC800 weighs less than the Yellow Top. Isn't the rule of thumb the heavier it is, the better. A lil cheaper on ebay.

Kinetik isn't that expensive. . . the 800 is cheaper than the YT. Hell, the 2400 can be had for ~$260.
