i went to their website and did their calculator and it pulled up the 1400. my question what other brands would be equivalent to that? maybe a little cheaper? any thoughts.thanks

i have had my 1400 for 3 years + and the past month i have been feeding it 14.8v to see if what people said was true about them not being able to take it...so far so good and that includes 4 days of driving 8++ hours. i figure what the hell its old, out of warranty, people bash it so it should fail if everything said were true..but it hasn't. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I just got a Powermaster D2400, Kinetiks website said I should do a 1400 to. I got it off of summit racing for 234 + handling of like 11 bucks. I think battery to dollar that would be a better battery for those of us recommended a 1400 by kinetik.

where does it rest at after you charge it? the d925 i was messing with would fall from 13v down to 12.78ish volts within 10 hours after being charged. everyother agm i have charged stayed at 12.9 for about a week at least.

and none of the deka batts are a g51 like the hc1400, so i dunno why someone posted them

http://www.odysseyfactory.com I say get one of their batteries. Full 4 year replacement on them. Same as stinger but cheaper and better warranty. I have a 1500dt and a 1750 and love them.

i asked a local place that sells kinetik and he told me i just need the smallest one. what give's? i have a autotek mm1000.1 will a smaller one do or do like the website says?

get the biggest you can fit under the hood. hc1400 fits in anything.

get a powermaster, kinetik has bein sewed for statin false outputs on there batterys. i have a hc1800 only 30 minutes used ill let it go for 120 plus shipping. i changed it for a powermaster

i did a test with a 2400 max amps pm battery vs a 3 year old kinetik 1400. i didnt get "louder" nor sound better and the pm died faster (smaller capacity which was expected) and its voltage dropped .25 volts overnight after a charge..i am interested to test out a 5100 vs my 1400..just find it funny how a 1400 "rated watt" battery can actually run more than its rating in my big 3, stock alt where as a "bigger max amp" battery rated to do 1000 watts more hit the skids sooner than expected. if i was ever going to hook up 2400 watts too it i would have at least a 220 amp alt. my 1400 as the primary battery with a stock alt has powered as much as 1600 watts (rated) without flinching...go a bigger alt (which i have just not installed) i bet it could handle 2000+ watts without issue:laugh:
