kinetic hc600

my setup is a 12w6v2, 500/1v2, the epicenter, kinetic hc600 and kenwood HU. okay ive been doing some readin but have not found an exact anwser to my question. I was driving the other night back from work and all of a sudden my HU turned off but back on. When i checked the fuse on the power wire it was blown so i replaced it. Last night i was bumping to check it out then my interior lights started dimming some and tail lights dimmed some not as much as before i got the kinetic... my question is...is a lil dimming normal although i have a hc600

clean your battery terminals under the hood, get a bigger fuse under the hood and check your hc600's voltage. it may need a charge.

like 10% bigger than all ur amp fuses added up

if you have 1180 amps of fusing usea 200 amp fuse at the battery

thanks, also if i recharge the battery will this help stop the dimming a little more?

around 12-13 off and 14-15 while at idle

Check your wiring and make sure the hc600 is getting a propper charge. Wiring in parallel helped improve in most cases by right about .2 of a volt vs a good frame ground.

You mean if he has 180 amps of fusing he should use a 200 amp fuse?

thanks for the attachment only thing is dat i dont have the negative frm car battery to kinetik i have negative from kinetik to ground is this good or no? checked the battery today and it is full still at 12.6 the dimming is only in the inside when the bass is hitting real hard.

Every time I have ever charged a kinetik that rested @ 12.6 v it took a charge and rested at 12.8. With a 4 amp charge it would take a good 20+ minutes from an agm intelligent autocharger.

should i get some more 4 gauge wire and instead of having the negative grounded run it to the front battery negative

Its worth a try,In my truck I had an HC600 for a a bit and I ran my ground for it back too the battery, thing is though by the time the ground made it to the distrobution block it was 0 ga back up front to the HC1400

Unless your competing I really wouldn't bother. It would be your best option, but you probably won't see any difference just driving around.
