I'm only running 1,000W RMS and I have 2 Kinetik HC 2000's in parallel under the hood of my Silverado. I was getting some dimming from bass at full tilt with one, when I added the second, gone. Adding the second also eliminated a very minor alternator whine I was getting...must have been a so so ground from the originating battery. Anyways, both of my Kinetiks rest at 12.8V...when the engine is running the PCM manages the voltage which in my Silverado can swing from 11.5 to 15.5, however, it is typically pretty steady at 14V since the addition of the 2nd battery...especially when I have the audio system at full tilt.
