Kinda Dumb Question

Ok i have an old school JBL BP1201 amp powering my ported 13w7. It does NOT have a subsonic filter. I want to mess around with my sub and play some really low frequences...so how low can i go without damaging anything? Box is tuned to 32hz...Thanks!

If you stay above 20hz or so and just keep your ears open for bad sounds comming from the sub you should do ok.

I just want to feel the real low frequencies...im not going to do it alot.

Yeah Stay arount 20 and higher, also don't "burp" at that low of a volume, just roll the volume knob up, untill/if you hear bad sounds from the sub.

Or you could use a inline subsonic filter

You can get them in 20Hz, 30Hz, 50Hz, 70Hz, 100Hz, 150Hz, 200Hz, 300Hz, 500Hz, 1kHz, and 1.5kHz
