i have a 94 suburban and running off on an Xtant 10 "X series" in a sealed box. It is powered by an kenwood mono amp kac-819 (450 watt max) I want to get a little more "knock" soo i am thinking about selling my xtant and amp and getting something along the Eclipse 15 Ti range or a 2 xtant 10's. Could you all please respond and tell me what you think is the best subs that will be pretty loud. I also don't want to much trunk space taken up, so could you please send me an e-mail or reply on what subs and amp to get please!

thanks a lot,

Parker

If you have room and just want more "knock" then up-size to a 15" or 12" but if you must stay with a 10" I think you would be most pleased with an audiobahn ALUM10 (10") 800w peak...

As for an amp I'd go with a Rockford Fosgate bd500.1....This would hit pretty nicely indeed...You can find all ths stuff online for the sepc and prices will vary.

i would go with RF you can get 2 HE2's or HX2's and they both work great in small sealed enclosures (like .75 cu. ft per sub) and get a jbl bp-1200.1 amp, you can run both subs into one channel at 1 ohm and the amp can handle it easy and put plenty of power to them. you can pick up all that stuff on ebay for about 600 bucks if you go with the he2s or about 700 if you go with the hx2s i currently have the he2s and in a car with horrible audio dynamics i can get about 142 dB's from them so in a suburban you could get even more.

well this buddy of mine is selling an eclipse 15 Ti and if he sells that cheap then i will prob be getting that but i really don't know any body got some more ideas!

Thanks,

Parker

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too

What is your budget? With being exposed to Rain.. I would recommend looking at a marine grade SAS Bazooka for the sub stage
