The only foreseeable problem with UFC/MMA in general is that the majority of our world are pussies. By broadcasting MMA on such a popular station on national TV, alot of people are going to get upset at this "awful barbaric violence" that their 8 year old little Jimmy watched and then broke his friend Billy's arm with an armbar.

Kind of like how the PETA goes overboard in alot of situations.

Besides, just like everything else, its all about the money. The could give a rats *** about the true fans when they can get much more $$ from the fairweather fans, of whom there are 10x more than true fans.

kimbo is ok, but not no where near the level of others. agaisnt a technical fighter he will lose . like i said just be technical with him and im sure they can will if the fighter who fights him will win. technique is key .conditioning is second. kimbo needs to go to the gym and learn the technique . untill then hes a waste of time. like i said agaisnt a god technical fighter who uses the technique he has developed the technical fighter will most likely win look at gsp very technical . kimbo is garbage , decent stand up slopy technique on everything else. Once Kimbo gets put on his back he's done, got no ground game whatsoever. All he has is a stand up game, but ground game is worse than horrible.

of course he has no ground game...he has only been standup...only been fighting mma for a short time....the fight sucked though and i agree i thought he was done on his back.

I didn't say he would. He fought a guy that sucked and was about to lose. Imagine if he fought someone that was just DECENT.

Well, after watching the Kimbo fight my opinion about the guy hasn't changed. He'll never be a good MMA fighter. If he doesn't KO you in the first round, he seems pretty easy to beat.
The only thing worthwhile in that whole ****ed fight was seeing his opponents ear almost fall off.

Because the guy was an idiot and wasn't putting pressure on Kimbo's hips, so he could get out real easy. In case you don't remember, James was pulling a Sean Gannon and pummeling him on the ground with such weakness that it would have had to go on a lot longer for it to work. If he had layed one good bow to Kimbo's face, that would have been game over.

Ok dude this is a joke, I would never say something as so ignorant as let me handle his *** diet starts monday, if you were serious you would never let yourself get that far out of shape and from your pics and your build you would not even be a heavy weight. I have grappled for years and would never say I could beat him or even come close and he is about as sorry as a fighter as I have seen.

Is anyone taking into consideration that the other guy weighed 20 pounds or more than kimbo? and was taller? Which I think is why when he got kimbo on the ground he just laid on top of him, but other than at the end of the second round he couldn't do much to him. Kimbo somehow took that beating and survived enough to come out fighting the third round and finished it with that round of punches.

PS - that one b1tches take down from that kick to the face was SICK. hah

honestly , I seriously think i have a shot . Im 20years old . by the time I get back in shape I will be 22. I am going to train my boxing wich is my weak point ,kickboxing/karate is my streght . Grappeling is decent ,my submissions are decent, I hang in their with orange belts. It's all about my conditioning as far as standing up with him . I would not box him , I would strike and move strike and move, then come in when i have the chance. He has many holes in his games. standing is decent, but when he gets tired he is sloppy(begginer).Trough out the whole fight he never trew a single kick. thats his weakness. his coath is a awesome kickboxer . but just remember styles make fights. I can almost bet u. If u put kimbo vs brandon vera, he would get owned horribly bad prolly knocked out . My style is kinda karate/kick boxing .His is brawwling, thats y I know I would fight him. I'll just prove it one day, I hope . Hopefully im as good as I see my self.
