Well since Kimbo has moved on from the backyard and put quit a bit of effort in becoming a MMA fighter I respect him alot more now. After this fight is over I expect some caliber opponents for him. Then I'll decide if I like him or not.......When did CBS start airing MMA?

Tonight is the first time CBS has aired an MMA fight. I think they got a contract with EliteXC for Saturday night fights on CBS now.

I really hope that dumbass gorilla loses. I'm not saying it will happen tonight, but it will eventually. As soon as they put him up against someone that doesn't **** ***. Kimbo is an absolute retard.

He may not be the best MMA fighter in the world, he doesn't have any MMA skills except what he has recently learned training with Bas. But ****, he's one hell of a brawler and you got to give him props for that. Why so much hate for the man? I think standing up kimbo can hang with a majority of mma fighters, just because of his sheer strength/size; I don't follow him so I don't know much about his ground game, but if he can establish that somewhat he'll be a major contender.

EliteXC is absolutely the wrong promotion to be airing on network television. They are hemorrhaging money left and right and are doing this in a desperate attempt to stop losing anymore money, they don't care about the sport or promoting the right image.

Any die hard fan of the sport would want the premiere fighters to be displayed on its network debut, such as GSP, Anderson Silva, Andre Arlovski, Rampage, Wanderlei Silva, etc, not "fighters" like Kimbo Slice, Robbie Lawler, James Thompson. The only fighter on the XC card worth watching is Scott Smith, and whats up with the chick fight

you are right and wrong.. EliteXC isnt the wrong MMA orginization.. Gary Shaw is a sales man and a hell of a promotor, he is spending BIG money to make this 1st show a success.
