Well its my first time, and i cant get it all smoothed out for paint. I sanded for a bit and didnt see any reall improvement. I know i need a lot more sanding but im wondering if there are any tricks to it. Ill post pics if it helps but they are FAR from done. Basically i dont want to sand for 3 hours tomarrow. Save me

If there are high spots just use an angle grinder with a roloc disc. If the piece is pretty smooth with a few imperfections, high build primer works wonders. For small pinholes a bit of glazing putty does the trick eveytime. I'm sure all these tips are in the stickies but I hope it helps. Technique is a little hard to explain without having the piece right in front of you.

glazing putty or that stuff called "icing" works miracles, but yeah pix of how bad your talking would help

where can i get that glazing putty? what brands make it ill have pics tonite if i cant fix it with just normal sanding
