kicker zx850.4 cutting out!

I just got this amp this past month. I have it wired to a kicker tcvt12 4ohm and a pair of diamond comps up front.

Randomly it cuts out on me restarts a few seconds later...then does it again etc.

Usually when i have the volume up moderately high it does it.

-I looked at all the wiring and it seems fine.

-Battery is a 1yr old yellowtop. Idles at 14.9volts 15+ volts when driving (gauge on HU only goes up to 15.1v)

-New fuses at the battery and near the amp (150amp ANL)

Do I have the gain up too high? Its at about 60% gain on both knobs. Remote bass knob is also around 60%

How can I troubleshoot this?

set gains with dmm, check grounds, come back with answer.
