I just bought a power acoustic 1600w amp off my dude. it blew around wear the power gauge screw ad wire would go.. how much would it be? and ho much does this baby put out true RMS?

it should do 600-700w bridged at 4 ohms

ok me and my cousin fixed the amp yesterday and re-solder'd it. me being a dumb *** and unpaitent i taped the power wires to the power channel casue its like fuxed so blah blah blah...its starts hitting hard and made the amp move and i think it must have touched the Remote because it started smoking (about 1 small puff 4ruma cigarrete ampount on smoke) so i turned the car off and i've re-opened it and tried touching wires and its like it'll come on and the green light will come one but the amp will not work....idk its retatrted and pissing me off. the blue light on top wont come on anymore either. dont know if thatsa sign or w/e but the green light comes on....(when the blue led light on top of amp comes on the speakers work) The remote channel works, the ground channel works, and the power channel works. everytime i connect the power wire to the channel it sparks..anyone think they can help me?

p.s. sometimes the green power light stays on dim even when theres no power wire in channel and just the remote and ground.

So we got it to come on & it wont produce sound...please help

i jusr re-checked it out. the remote, power, and ground channels work. the speaker channels dont i think.....they wont play. I tap the edge of the the RCA cahnnels with the RCA's so i know they work. only thing that wont work is the speaker channels

how much did you spend on it? you might want to check into a different amp

That amp isnt worth the solder to fix. Go a diff route..they are pretty overrated

i already soldered it ...now everything works and looks right but the speakers arent playing.......errrrr
