because an amp that does full power at 4 ohms too gives you better options for different sub configurations. If he ever had a dual 2 that he bought/came across for example then he could still run it full boar at 4 ohms. Not a big deal to alot of people, but its a nice option. I had a zx 1500.1, and am running a zx 1000.1 right now. There decent amps, but the subsonic is fixed 25hz. does the JBL have an adjustable subsonic?I think if he needs a 2 ohm final load it won't matter which one he goes with. Why would you care about the 4 ohm rating? I personally would choose the kicker, but i'm biased
I seems good to have more variability RMS-OHMbecause an amp that does full power at 4 ohms too gives you better options for different sub configurations.
