All Kicker amps should be ran at the manufactures reccomendation....if it says 2 ohm, do 2 ohm.

Yes I know my apologies....I purchased the 1000.1 with the intention of pushing 2 Rl-p's with it, but picked up two W6V2's for dirt cheap. Everyone told me (I have even read you mention it will run at 1 ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif) it would work, and it does. Poor 650.4 though....

it can, and may, dependant on impedance rise, voltage, actual amp load on selected drivers, enclosure type, etc,etc...so many variables. Some can, and do run daily at 1 ohm.

But I would say pull and isolate the 650.4, try another amp in it's spot, to verify it's the amp, not RCA's,etc
