Kicker ZR600 help repair

Hi

I have a Kicker ZR600 amplifier that is malfunctioning. It has good 12volt power and good ground. The remote is good as well. I know the rca's and everything are good as well because when I hook my other kicker amplifier up everything works perfectly. When I hook the ZR600 up the speakers "flutter" violently. It never blows fuses or goes into protect mode. I have taken it apart and nothing appears to be broken or burned. If anyone would be able to help me figure out what is wrong or be able to fix it for me I would appreciate it greatly. Thank you

I would check the ohms stability of the amp,and the wiring of the subs ohms wire... That amp may not be suitable for that ohms rating, may be reason why it is not performing properly???????????????????Are your speakers wired 1,2,4,8,16 ohms??Is the amp rated for 1,2,4,8,16 ohms??4ohms mono/1/2/.5/.25??

specs are at 4, 2.66, and 2ohm, but that's not the prob. when you say "flutter" is that a somewhat slow pulsing of it pushing the cone out? not a tone? so, i'm assuming you have a dmm that you used to test for dc power at the power cables? if so, disconnect the speakers, and check for dc power at the speaker terminals, each side individually. if you get something like 30+ then there are shorted output transistors, or drivers at the least. if not, (and you can have some dc, which should be less than 1v) then take voltage readings on each terminal with the positive probe, and keep the negative on ground. so, it does not flash protect mode? honestly, i would definately be interested in picking this amp up. used to have a couple, but they disappeared in la, lol.

Thanks guys... do you know of anyone who could fix it for me? I live in peoria heights illinois. I would be willing to ship it to them or whatever would work depending on the costs. I just want to get it fixed..... and what I mean by flutter is it pushes the cones in and out not really slowly but pretty fast like all the way out and then ***** it all the way back in. Like I said I'd like to have it fixed... thanks guys
