I had a single 9512 running off a Mmats D300HC in my Acura and it was bangin hard! Everyone that got into my car swore i was running 2 or more 12's and multiple amps. I still have the Mmats amp but sold the 9512 in its box to the guy that bought the car. The Mmats amp is 2ohm stable and puts out over 2000 watts. i believe they where rated 1800 after the extra caps.... look for somethin that doesnt need to be modded out the box....

The web site says 1800.. I don't have the certificate that came with the amp but i do remember that it was over 2000 actual watts of output. Either way, 1800 watts would be great for a 9512.

No matter what amp u get make sure it is over 1000 watts and what ever type of box make sure it has plenty of bracing. This sub will blow a normal 3/4 MD box apart in i few weeks.

uh just to inform you ive seen L7s louder than DD's................as well as the other way around all in the build......and also the new L7s are STOUT im sure you cant break them as easily if you do break em im sure itll be fried coils only no shattered cones like the older models.....either route cant go wrong mite be louder with L7s over the DDs but all depends on what power you throw at em

so the amp is Incriminator 40.1 becasue I read that Z1 hat some troubles...

which sub will be better DD 3510 x2 or 2x aq hdc 10" ....

probably the DD but the AQ is cheaper and is made by same people...

so will be big difference between DD and AQ? in SPL and SQ.... ???

you're gonna get a 40.1 and 2 9500 series dd's for a grand? i spent 400 or 450 on my used 9518g, and you're talking at least 600, probably more like 7 for that amp.
