Alright. Ive got two Dual 4 ohm 2005 L5s. So I will be wiring them at 1 ohm.

The sx1250.1 is 1 ohm stable

The zx1500.1 is 2 ohm stable.

However as I understand after box rise and all that good stuff you never really see the ohm load you wire it to.

I like all the digital features on the sx1250 but the zx1500 has more watts.

I'm a little afraid that if I got the zx1500.1 i would have problems wiring it at 1 ohm, and i will be ordering it online so I most likely will not have a warranty on either one of the amps.

I can get both amps at pretty much the same price so price doesn't really matter.

Which amp do you think I should get and why?

i have the same problem so this should be interesting. i think though that the sx would be worth it in the long run, but who knows for sure really?
yeah I really like all the digital features and tuning that the sx offers and that it is 1 ohm stable. But then again the zx offers more watts. Why cant they just make a bigger SX amp? lol

im pretttttttty sure that zx will be fine at 1 ohm. same boards as the kx's and my kx takes 1 ohm daily like its nothing....id imagine the zx's would take it a lil better than the kx's.....search around about the zx's and youll see what im talking about

u can only wire the pair at 1 or 4 ohms. I would void the warranty on the zx by running at 1 ohm and it prolly ont puts out 750watts @ 4ohms. So i would go with the 1250.1 if you have 2 12"s. if 2 15"s then i woul get 2 of the smaller sx amps.

i think the kx's are one ohm stable though... atleast the 1200 is

there have been a few people running the ZX's at 1 ohm and not having a problem at all. but it's up to you if you want to take that risk.

i think you should upgrade to 2 12 dual 2 ohm L7's :p

yea the kx 1200.1 is 1ohm stable, i think the kx2500.1 is stable at 2.

i'd just go with the sx. i mean, an extra 125 on each sub won't make that much of a difference. plus you could eventually pick up another sx to run components and have it all connected to the sxrc

Yeah i said that I would be wiring it at 1 ohm. and like I said i will be ordering it online so I wont have a warranty, voiding the warranty isnt really an issue either.

i guess its really up to u, u want to risk it like many ppl have well then zx is for you, go with sx if u want to play it safe with a little bit less watts than the 1500.1 and thats the bottom line really dude no other way, straight up.
