Kicker speakers, any good? Or trash like their subs?

I was told that kicker speakers are surprisingly good compared to the poor quality I their subs. Is that true? What kind of speakers would you recommend? What is the best brand of speakers?

Yeah I want something that sounds great but can put some power out. I don't want to easily blow speakers from a little while with subs

Just fried my IA 6.5's and had to go back to my cheap old Kickers. I dont think Kicker is as bad as everyone on here makes them sound.

There are a lot of good comp sets out there. I like PHD and the german DD comps personally. A lot of it is install.

My buddy is really pushing me to those DD Germans. If he could let me try them first it would help. I've never heard a German tweeter I loved.
