Kicker Speaker Question

Have a question some of the old-school guys might be able to help out with. A friend of mine has zero bass in his 98 Explorer right now. He wants something, but is on a very tight budget. I have had a brand new pair of Kicker C15c's tucked away in my laundry room for probably the last 15-20 years. I offered them up, and of course he accepted. LOL. My problem is, even though they were new, and still taped up in their original boxes, there was no paperwork/specs with them. Does anyone know anything about these subs? How much box volume do they need? Do they like a sealed or ported enclosure? Etc. I am trying to help my buddy get some bass in his ride. Thanks in advance for any help provided.

I installed 4 C-10s in a 78 chevy truck behind the seat in approx 5.0 sealed on an old White Zed Autotek Mean Machine 99 and they slammed really hard and clean for some cheap subs. They all were SVC 4 ohm subs, and rated @ 150 rms I believe..The pair of C-15s would do very nicely in 6.0 sealed running at 2 ohms mono.C series should be SVC 4 ohm subs. Id still check with a DMM though to make sure..Black and yellow subs
